German aftermarket specialists Senner Tuning have recently presented their tuning transformation for the 2012 BMW X6 xDrive40d, which is available only in Europe for the moment.
According to Benno the Proprietor at Senner Tuning, the Senner Tuned BMW X6 X-Drive 40d’s 3.0 litre engine is now developing a total output of 331 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 665 Nm (490 lb-ft), compared to the standard 302 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque (443 lb-ft). Senner Tuning says that the extra power came from a reprogrammed ECU and an added sport air filter.
Besides giving the crossover a power boost, Senner Tuning has also played with the vehicle’s exterior design, fitting it with the BMW Performance front bumper with large air intakes in the honeycomb design, rear bumper with integrated diffuser, glossy black kidney grilles and the tailgate comes with a trio of black rear spoilers, two of them being placed on the sides of the rear glass.
They haven’t stopped at Engine tuning either, fitting large wheels and tyre which the X6 so desperately needs, and as all proper tuning companies do they have fitted the correct wheel widths and no spacers in sight, 10.5 x 22 inches for the front and 12×22 inches for the rear, wrapped in 295/30R22 and 335/25R22 Continental Sport Contact 5P tires. The BMW X6 has also been fitted with Bilstein B8 shocks and 25/20mm lowering springs.
All of the Senner Tuning parts are available exclusively at VAD so if you are looking to update your standard BMW X6 why not give us a call or email us on info@vadwheels.com
