Wald International has come out with another Black Bison kit and this time for the Porsche Panamera.

The modifications include the normal front & rear bumper, rear wheel arch extensions, side skirts, and rear boot spoiler, with Carbon fibre detailing to the front splitter and the Rear Diffuser, Finishing off the car it sits on their 22” wheels, sports suspension and the all important Signature Wald exhaust tips.

With quite a few SLS aero conversions to hit the market it getting quite hard to stand out from the crowd, well Senner tuning have done just that with their Mercedes SLS programme and what a stunning looking car they have put together.

With the infestation and complete saturation of RWB across the world other amazing little Japanese companies seem to work away creating master piece after master piece and all under the radar, and one company in particular is Sunburst, and VAD with a quality Media company are about to change all of that.

VAD came across sunburst some time ago and we sent and email but we didnt get any response, so we took it upon ourselves to ask a good friend in Japan to make contact as they spoke fluent Japanese, as we thought there is possible a language problem, and "BINGO" this turned out to be the case, Inui-san didn’t respond as he doesnt speak or write any English, but once our email was translated he knew the name VAD and who we were and was extremely excited to work with us as we are to be working with him.

It’s taken a lot longer than we had anticipated, but as we always say at VAD perfection takes time and the RWB wheels that have been produced by DPE are just that perfect.

We decided on a 19” upgrade as although we build bespoke vehicles we are also a wheel specialist and whilst upgrading on the wheel diameter we also took the decision to go wider and although the 335/30R18 is a mighty looking foot print, it’s nowhere near as awe-inspiring as the 355/25R19 tyre that Pirelli produce, and the stance is even more menacing.

German aftermarket specialists Senner Tuning have recently presented their tuning transformation for the 2012 BMW X6 xDrive40d, which is available only in Europe for the moment.

According to Benno the Proprietor at Senner Tuning, the Senner Tuned BMW X6 X-Drive 40d’s 3.0 litre engine is now developing a total output of 331 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 665 Nm (490 lb-ft), compared to the standard 302 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque (443 lb-ft). Senner Tuning says that the extra power came from a reprogrammed ECU and an added sport air filter.

The Ferrari 599 GTB is an awe inspiring car to look at and you would think it’s an impossible task to improve upon, well in our opinion you would be wrong.

Just take a look at what Vorsteiner’s interpretation of what the Ferrari 599 should look like with their VX aero conversion, it just looks incredible, at VAD we only ever thought the 599 would only need a set of wheels and for the vehicle to be lowered, how wrong we were.

I guess it must be a minefield and a tough choice if you’re looking to fit a set of wheels to your pride and joy, especially in the wheel world at the moment, the focus is always on new designs or in most cases copying the competition seems the way forward for most manufactures.

There is good and bad in all manufacturing and this includes wheel manufacturers with variations on quality, and with personal experience we don’t know how some companies sell their products let alone why some people would buy them, but It's personal choice and this is what makes the world go round.
